Anne is truly one of our office’s secret weapons. She loves her profession, and next year will have fifty years of experience in the dental field. She was a dental assistant for two years before attending Alabama’s dental hygiene preceptorship program and has been a hygienist since 1960. She is known for her gentle technique and calm demeanor.
Anne is quite passionate about her hobbies, which include sewing, reading, and gardening. Amazingly, her green thumb has never been a problem to patients.
Anne has two daughters, Lisa and Cindy, who live in Birmingham with four grandchildren between them. She has one son, Donald, who lives in Kentucky.
Anne was born in St. Stephens, Alabama, in Washington County. She has lived in Birmingham since she was four years old and currently lives in Morris.
Beverly is also one of our hygienists. She has been a hygienist for 14 years but has been in the dental field for 34 years. She brings a sense of fun mixed with order and serenity to our team. Our office is blessed to have her with us.
Beverly and her husband Ed, along with children Kellie and Jeff, lived in Fairhope for the last 20 years. Ed works for BNSF Railroad as an electronic technician and was recently transferred to Birmingham. Although she has only been with us a short time, she fits into our team like a hand in a glove. Beverly is originally from Minnesota but has fallen in love with the south.
Beverly enjoys camping, being outdoors, reading, and spending time with her new grandchild. She and Ed attend Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church.
Shannon Coleman, Scheduling and Financial Coordinator
While Shannon may be a new face for patients, she is not new to the dental field. She has been in dentistry since 1988, so she brings a great deal of knowledge and experience to our front desk.
She has been married to her husband Michael, a firefighter, for over 14 years, and they have three children: Morgan, Hannah, and Steven. Shannon loves animals, outdoors, and camping, and she has a strong sense of family. When the Iron Bowl comes around, Shannon always pulls for Alabama. Her family attends The Church of Bradford Road in Trussville.
Diana is our primary front desk receptionist and schedule coordinator. She has brought with her experience from three other dental offices. She has also been involved in real estate, but feels dentistry is truly her niche.
Diana and her husband, Tim, are new to Birmingham. They share two hobbies in common, NASCAR racing and a love for being on the water -- no matter where. “Paradise,” for them, would be watching a NASCAR race on a big screen television inside their big cabin cruiser.
They have three daughters, Ashleigh and Chelsea, who currently live in Destin, and Tiffany, who will attend the University of Montevallo in the fall.

Crystal Adderhold is the new face at our office. She is Dr. Beckham’s assistant, working right beside him all day long. She brings 9 years of dental assisting experience to our office
Crystal grew up in Adamsville and was very fortunate to have and spend lots of time with both sets of her grandparents during her younger years. She credits them with exerting a very positive influence in many areas of her life.
Crystal is our cowgirl. At a young age, she started racking horses and then got into running “barrels.” Her very first year to show in Alabama, she was in the top 25 in the state out of 250 entries. She also loves training horses. Her lifelong ambition is to show in the Las Vegas Rodeo.
Crystal is married to Scott, with a daughter , Mattie, who loves softball and horses too.
